After you have finished installing the RMS220, you must level it completely before you can start your first print.
Note: The leveling fixture is a feeler gauge, 3 mm at one end and 6 mm at the other. The leveling tool is included with the RMS220. Please take it from the toolbox.
19mm open-end wrench

Level
Note: The level is not included with the package; please prepare your own.
There are 4 foot supports under the printer.

First, use the wrench to lower the four foot supports to the ground. First, loosen the top screw with an open-end wrench. Then, loosen the bottom screw with an open-end wrench, lower the foot supports to the ground, and then tighten the screw.

Insert both ends of the feeler gauge under each foot in sequence. First, insert the 3mm end of the feeler gauge, ensuring it can be inserted smoothly. Then, insert the 6mm end of the feeler gauge, ensuring it cannot be inserted.

Adjust the foot support height up or down using an adjustable wrench, depending on the feeler gauge. For example, if the 3mm end of the feeler gauge cannot fit into the caster, raise the foot support; if the 6mm end can fit into the caster, lower the foot support.

After checking the height of one caster, check the other one, and so on, until all four casters have been checked.

Push the Build Unit 220 into the RMS220 printer to check if it moves smoothly. If the Build Unit 220 cannot be pushed in, continue adjusting the height of the foot supports.

Check that the side guide wheels and the guide slots of Build Unit 220 are at the same height. Ensure that at least half the width of the side guide wheels is in contact with the guide slots.

Use a level to confirm that the printer is level again. After powering on, in the RMS220 "Movement" interface, press and hold the "←" or "→" arrow below the powder recoater to move the recoater to the relative center position.

After the recoater has moved to the center, place a level on the recoater for measurement. Ensure the middle air bubble is centered before printing. Based on the level reading, adjust the foot supports for leveling as needed.

After leveling, click the "Home" button under the recoater to home it.

If the RMS220 is pushed away from its original position, it needs to be leveled again.
